Announcements
Harvest Fest 2008:
Harvest Fest Donation Forms are available in the school office & online
at the Trinity website.
All forms are due June 1st!! Please call Marissa Amador if you have any
questions at 255-3757. Thank You.
Instant Wine Cellar for the Harvest Fest:
Dear families,
It is that time of year when we begin to think about Harvest Fest! The
Instant Wine Cellar is an important part of that fundraiser. Part of our
tuition agreement includes a donation of a good bottle of wine valued at
$20 or more. This donation, along with all of our other families’ wine
donation, make up an “Instant Wine Cellar” to be raffled off on the day
of Harvest Fest. The first step is to collect those bottles of unique
and quality wines. Here is what you do:
1. Get that bottle of wine.
2. Bring it to the office or to my home. (3624 Baxter Ave.)
3. Use a donor form for the Instant Wine Cellar and attach it to the
bottle with a rubber band. (found in office) Please have a dollar value
for your wine. Look it up on the internet if necessary. Include that
information along with your name on the donor form.
4. Donations may be left at the office or at my home.
This is the first of many reminders for the
raffle. Please get your donation in early! Look for donor forms in your
child’s Friday folder.
God bless,
Debbie Brumley
To all Trinity-Kolbe Families:
Deadline for re-enrollment of registration for next
school year is May 31st. Penalties for late enrollment will be
billed on June 15th. Please send in as soon as possible your
signed following forms:
Parent Contract w/registration payment.
Policy Guideline page.
Facts contract (if you chose this option)
Credit Card contract (if you chose this option)
If you are waiting until the penalty deadline date to send in your
contract packets because of financial reasons, we ask that you send in
your paper work now with a note to hold registration payment until June
14. Please remember that first monthly payments for Facts or
Credit Card start in July and end in April. I need time to process these
contracts and get them off with 35 days prior notification to these
companies.
Anyone who would like to apply for Financial Aid for the 2008-09 school
year should already have picked up your aid packet and returned it to
the school. If you have not done so already, please let me know and I
will get a packet to you or come in and pick one up at the office. Those
families that received aid this year (2007-08) still need to fill out
new financial aid packets for next year (2008-09).
Thank you for your immediate response to this letter.
Sincerely,
Toni Williams

Summer Basketball:
Summer Basketball starts June 10th. All
incoming high school students interested in participating, please see
Coach Greene.
Parents of Graduates:
1) Graduation Practice is on Wednesday, May 28th, at noon. All graduates
must meet with Miss Ristine in the chapel. Graduation Caps and gowns
will be distributed on Wednesday at graduation practice. Practice is
expected to last about 40 minutes.
2) The Baccalaureate Mass will be celebrated by Father Gary Sumpter on
Friday, May 30th at 7:30 pm at St. Apollinaris Church. 8th and 12th
grade students must be in front of St. A's by 7 p.m. SHARP
to line up for the processions and to receive instructions and take
pictures, etc. For both the graduation and the Mass, all graduates will
wear their graduation gowns. Under the gowns, the boys should wear a
shirt and tie, dress pants and dress shoes. The girls should wear a
modest dress or skirt and top that will fit under a mid-calf length gown
and dress shoes. Do NOT iron the gown! If the gown is wrinkled,
hang it in a steamy bathroom or use the steam setting on the iron to
blow steam over the gown and release the wrinkles.
3) For the Saturday graduation ceremony, graduates are to meet at
9:30 a.m. SHARP in the school chapel.
Uniform Vote:
On Thursday, May 29th from 12 -12:30 the uniform committee will be
displaying the uniforms in Fellowship Hall. The board feels very
strongly that there should be only one color for the sweater. We will be
taking a vote on the color of sweater and will be there to field any
questions you may have. To keep things as simple as possible, there will
be one vote per family. Thank you all for your patience and
understanding as we make these very difficult decisions.
Graduation Clean up and Set up:
The clean up and set up day for graduation is scheduled for Friday, May
30 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. This is a great way to complete those last
few service hours!
A Journey of Faith through Art:
Father Chad Wohl will be giving a presentation on the "12 Stations of St. Peter" on
Wednesday, June 25th, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm (includes dinner) in the
Trinity Fellowship Hall. $30 per couple - Adults only. RSVP to Bob or
Mary Quinn (259-4800) by June 22nd.
Vatican II Class:
Mark Brumley will conduct the class. He is an adjunct professor of
theology of Ave Maria University’s Institute for Pastoral Theology. He
is the author of How Not to Share Your Faith and he has taught
the documents of Vatican II at the graduate level as well as the adult
faith level.
