Coach Greene is entering his Fourth year as head coach of the Crusaders and sixth at the high school level. During his time at Trinity the Crusader baseball program has had success on and off the field. The Crusaders have produced back-to-back winning seasons in 2006 and 2007, posting a record of 16-9 in Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League play and 17-11 overall during that span. The 2006 team finished 6-4 in the SMAL and 7-4 overall. The team’s achievements included a 5-2 upset of Division IV public school Dixon High in the season opener on March 18, 2006. The 2007 team won its final eight games of the season en route to a 9-5 record in the SMAL, 10-8 overall. Other highlights included a 7-6 come-from-behind victory over eventual playoff participant Faith Christian and a 16-5 non-league victory over eventual Division VII Sac-Joaquin Section champ Brookside Christian. The 2008 Crusaders won five of their final six contests to post an 8-9 overall record (6-7 in the SMAL). Over the past three seasons Trinity is 9-1 during the month of May.

Coach Greene runs a program that is high on energy and positivity. Fostering a family environment where players can learn the game of baseball. With an emphasis on working together at all times for the betterment of the individual and the whole, Crusader baseball teams are built on the foundation that every individual regardless of talent level can impact the game and the team in a positive fashion.
